I have been relatively quiet, for good reason. Living life like everyone, so no need for an explanation. I figured why not start to update some of the older videos as time permits, making them a little cleaner so to speak. Here is an old favorite "guide fly" streamer. I reintroduce to you the mophead, and you can now purchase them in the webstore as well in a variety of sizes and configurations. If you want a specific color not listed, just ask and you shall recieve. Enjoy.

Hope to see many of my Vermont friends this Saturday evening at The Marquis Theater in Middlebury Vermont as I give a talk on designing modern streamers with a few added tidbits on flies in general. This should be a great event with live music, refreshments and a raffle to kick it off. I have donated a selection of flies and a signed copy of my book for the cause. Look forward to seeing many of you there this weekend. For more information, checkout www.nhraa.com.

I realized the other day I have been relatively quiet both here on the website and on social media. Social media more so for the better part of this year. I guess you could say I am currently in a phase of disgust with it all for a lack of a better term. Team that up with a busy "life schedule" and well here we are. Some of the "life" stuff is a hell of a lot more important to me these days so I am really not complaining, but I'd be remiss to not at the very least throw that out there. One constant however has been the numbers of flies that I've been turning out for people, I am here to tell you that I have all of my current retail orders done and either shipped or on their way to the post office as I type this. My shop customers who I have running lists of flies to tie I will be starting your stuff next week upon my return.
Return? Yes you read that correctly, I will be back in Wyoming again come Wednesday for the now annual, Flyshop Of The Bighorns gathering including myself and a handful of signature fly designers from the Montana Fly Company. This has become one of my favorite get aways each spring now and I am happy to say that my wife Megan will be joining me this year. If you forgot what last year was all about, here are a few pictures from that trip to remind you all. I will see you all again in a week, so any orders that come in from now till then will not be started until my return. Be well and have a great weekend.
