Some of you might remember this one featured in a past issue of SCOTF. The video had music for the background with no explanation of how to tie the fly. I had this one hanging around, and it's been a pretty solid fish catcher. The decision to put this one out there with some of the finer details was a no brainer. So here is the simple minnow, and it is just that, a simple minnow imitation. The key to this video is the details on how to build a resin headed streamer. There are many products available to the tier now that make building a resin like head easy, but what they all lack is the ability for the tier to control the exact shape of the head. Shaping your own resin head, although a longer process is a much more precise way to dictate how large or small of a head you construct.
