I grew up in the foothills of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts, cutting my teeth catching native brook trout on the many small mountain streams that littered the hills near my parents house. I tied my first fly at the age of 11, and have honed my skills affording me the honor of becoming a fairly well known tyer. I have been fortunate enough to have tied at dozens of regional and national fly tying shows and flyfishing retailer shows for the past 10 or more years and become friends with the industries best.

I pride myself on the quality of materials I use in the flies I tie and sell; I wouldn’t sell anyone a fly that I wouldn’t be proud enough to put in my own fly boxes, period.

The flies listed are creations of mine, that being said I am able to tie a very wide variety of other known patterns as well, and I routinely will accept and tie other patterns at the customers request.

All flies listed can be customized for the most part. If you are headed out on a trip to a special destination, I can tailor your flies to fit the needs and regulations of the destination you’re heading to. I have tied flies for a plethora of unique locations and am willing and able to work with you to ensure you have the right flies on the appropriate hooks. Please, feel free to contact me at any time and we can adjust your order accordingly.

Wholesale orders for fly shops are welcome but like all retail orders are done on a case by case basis and lead time is appreciated. If you are a shop owner and are interested in my wholesale pricing, please send an email and I will gladly send you my current wholesale pricing list.

I do not build stock, I tie everything as it comes in, in the order that it is received. The best advice I can give the customer is plan ahead, DO NOT contact me today with the expectation that you will get sent flies you need tomorrow. I will rarely if ever be able to fill an order under those time restrictions. The more lead time the better, as turnaround during the season can be several weeks. Enjoy your time on the water and thank you for checking out my stuff.
